Traffic on Goderich Street in Port Elgin was re-routed on Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 26) when Saugeen Shores Fire Service responded to a call at the Queen’s Bar and Grill.
Residents of the upper floor apartments were evacuated but, in dialogue with two renters outside the building, they were unable to confirm what the problem was.
It is as yet underdetermined what the call-out or cause was and it remains under investigation.
