The first ‘Veg Fest’, ever held in Saugeen Shores, on Saturday, July 13th was a popular event that showed the interest that exists in plant-based eating today.
From gluten free to vegan recipes, several vendors offered their wares. In addition, there were activities for the younger people such as face-painting.
ROAR by Rex, Kristen Holloway, said that the show was excellent. “I didn’t quite know what to expect as this is the first show of its kind here in Saugeen Shores but there were, I would say, more than 500 people attending by noon. Would I come back? Absolutely.”
