“I continue to be surprised by the outpouring of support,” said Vice-Deputy Mayor and Committee Co-Chair Mike Myatt. “As a committee, we are doing everything we can to get Phase 2 built, and our community is certainly playing a big role in making it a reality.”

“These four donations move us another step closer to achieving our fundraising goals,” added Co-Chair Rob Stanley. “As we shift our focus to the campaign’s public phase, I am confident our residents will help us close it out with the momentum set by the generous donations of local organizations.”

When asked about their donation, Ackert Construction replied, “We are extremely grateful to be part of a wonderful growing community.”

Last week, the Town’s Committee of the Whole approved a staff recommendation for hiring a Prime Consultant to oversee the construction of Phase 2.  This includes two youth baseball diamonds and an accessible playground. The new construction will add to the four baseball diamonds built in Phase 1.
