Hamilton male released on Saugeen Shores Undertaking apprehended in Grand Bend

A 39-year-old Hamilton resident who is facing a list of charges after he decided to break into several cottages on Market Street in Port Elgin, make himself at home and hold a yard sale with stolen goods, was released on an Undertaking that he not be within Saugeen Shores.

It appears that he took the Undertaking seriously as he moved on and within 24 hours, this same individual broke into a gas station in Grand Bend.

He was subsequently located and arrested in a corn field in Sarnia by Sarnia Police Service. He was held for a Bail Hearing by the OPP and remanded into custody.
