Each year, Armen’s Cafe in Southampton hosts an annual ‘Hospital Auxiliary Day’ in support of the local hospital volunteers during which proceeds from coffee sales go to the Auxiliary.
The day is usually held in May but, due to COVID-19, the day was postponed and held on Saturday, September 26th.
This year, Armen’s presented more than $1,000 to the Auxiliary.
A second local small business, that wants to remain anonymous, also donated $1,000.
In spite of the trying times of pandemic, small businesses are still stepping forward in support of the local hospital and keeping health care close to home.
