Hundreds attend annual school Fun Fair FUNdraiser

The weatherman cooperated for the annual Port Elgin Saugeen Central Public School’s annual June Fun Fair that had several sponsors.

Hundreds of students, families and friends took part in the wide variety of activities that included a silent and live auction, face-painting, henna tattoos, games and a BBQ hosted by Southampton Rotary Club.

The live auction was carried out by Auctioneer and Rotarian Pat O’Connor that included three major items – a Premier pass for four to Toronto’s Wonderland, a vacation stay at Kimberley House B&B in Kimberley,ON and a dinner for two at Rosina’s Restaurant.

The event that ran from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. over the dinner-hour saw a long line-up for the Rotary BBQ.

Rotary BBQ saw long line-ups and Mayor Luke Charbonneau also stopped by with his sons.

 

 

 

 

 

In the age of technology, simple wooden blocks are still popular
