On November 9th, Leader of the Official Opposition, Erin O’Toole announced the members of his Shadow Cabinet
Among his cabinet, local Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb has been appointed as the Shadow Minister for Digital Government.
“It’s an honour to have been appointed as the Shadow Minister for Digital Government. I look forward to working to bring modern and emerging technologies to deliver better digital services for Canadians,” said Lobb.
Lobb was first elected to the House of Commons in 2008 and was re-elected again in May 2011, October 2015 and again 2019.
Lobb has held several offices in the Conservative government, including Chair of the Standing Committee on Health, former Chair of the Government Auto Caucus, a member of the Rural, Mining, Housing and Nuclear Caucus, a member of the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills, Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities, Public Safety and National Security, Veterans Affairs and Agriculture and Agri-Food.
