Huron Shores Hospice received a major financial boost when Southampton Rotary Club presented a cheque for $40,250 on Wednesday, November 6th (2019).
Co-Chair of the Hospice Board of Directors, Carol Rencheck, was on hand to receive the cheque that was a result of the ‘Fund a Need’ auction held at the Club’s recent annual dinner auction evening. The unique ‘Fund a Need’ auction concept was introduced to Saugeen Shores by auctioneer Pat O’Connor, who could not be present at the cheque presentation.
Rencheck said that the funds will go toward a second hospice unit at Tiverton Park Manor in Tiverton (ON).
