Huron Shores Hospice ‘Hike for Hospice’ goes virtual

Huron Shores Hospice Hike that normally begins at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine is now going virtual.

On Saturday, May 8th, rain or shine, the hike will go ahead. You can register as a virtual hiker or safely rally together a team of friends and family, join the Team Challenge, challenge a friend or co-worker to help raise funds for compassionate and dignified end-of-life care.

You can hike nearby trails, walk around town, run, bike, canoe – whatever you can do safely on your own or in your neighbourhood.

Do you have parents/grandparents in the area?  Now, you can join the FUNdraising effort from anywhere in the world and 100 per cent of funds raised stay in the local community for Huron Shores Hospice.

The virtual Facebook live HIKE kick-off starts at 10:00 a.m. on May 8th.  Then do your version of the Hike for Hospice and meet back on Facebook live at 11:30 for the cool-down and prizes.

While you can do the full 5km or whatever distance you choose, just enjoy the FUNdraising and help the local Huron Shores Hospice.
