
On August 27th 2022 at 1:00am an Officer conducting speed enforcement on Railway Street stopped a motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. A breath demand was made and the driver provided a breath sample which registered a Fail.
The accused was brought to a Qualified Breath Technician and provided two suitable samples of breath.
As a result a 31-year-old of St Catherine’s has been charged with Operation while Impaired (80+). Their licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded.

On August 28th 2022 at 2:00am an officer on general patrol observed a motor vehicle southbound on Highway 21 that was unable to maintain a consistent speed or stay within its lane.
A traffic stop was generated and a breath demand was made. The driver provided a breath sample which registered a Fail.
The Accused was transported to the station where they provided two suitable samples of breath.
As a result a 33-year-old of St Catherine’s has been charged with Operation while Impaired (80+). Their licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded.

On August 28th 2022 at 2:30pm Saugeen Shores Police responded to a minor motor vehicle collision on Goderich Street. Police attended and a breath demand was made for one of the drivers which registered a Fail.
The Accused was transported to a Qualified Breath Technician and provided two suitable samples of breath. The results were 3 times the legal limit.
As a result a 56-year-old of Bruce County has been charged with Operation while Impaired (80+). Their licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded.
