This year’s celebrities included: Les Binkley who has attended 22 of the 23 events; Bryan Lewis, Garrett McFadden (OHL), Bill Walker MPP (PC Government House Wip), Kevin Curczman (Pittsburgh Penguins), Dominic Monardo (European Pro Hockey Player), Roy Roedger (German Olympics Legend), Len Clewett (Chief Nuclear Officer at Bruce Power), Buzz Hargrove (past-President CAW (Unifor), Marilyn White (Unifor), Andy Brown, Greg Hoddinot (Attack Hockey), Devon Yakabuski (Attack Hockey).
John Davidson of Jesse’s Journey also attended again this year and announced that, once again, the organization is matching every dollar of the $25,000 raised at the Tournament to bring the total to $50,000 for MD research.
From major donations to small ones, every dollar helps in MD fundraising.

At the end of the tournament, its namesake Jeff Preston, delivered his closing speech saying that “… while a cure may not be found for Muscular Dystrophy in my time, I know it will be for future generations.”
