Kincardine’s Battler continues support for Huron Shores Hospice

Realtor Keith Battler of Royal LePage Exchange Realty Co. in Kincardine pledged $250 to Huron Shores Hospice for every property he listed over 2022 and, on January 5th, he presented the final instalment bringing his total to $1,250 for the year.

The donation is an expression of appreciation for the care and comfort received by Keith’s sister-in-law while she was a resident of Huron Shores Hospice. In 2022, Keith and Linda Battler generously donated over $5,200 toward operations costs for the hospice totalling over $13,000 for the past two years.

For the third year in a row, the Battlers will be continuing their support of the Hospice in 2023 on the same basis.

“We are so appreciative of Keith and Linda Battler’s tremendous support of Huron Shores Hospice through the years,” said Director Cathy Herbert.  “Their kindness and generosity extends past these donations, as they also help out through additional personal donations as well as volunteerism. The Battler’s thoughtfulness will allow us to continue to provide the caring and compassionate support to other families in our community needing end of life care and grief support.”
