For the first time since its inception in 2021, the Women’s Triathlon moved from Kincardine to Saugeen Shores in 2023, under its new name the Lakeshore Women’s Triathlon.
More than 300 women of all ages entered the event to swim, bike and run from the base at Port Elgin Beach. The Triathlon gives women the opportunity to compete not only with other women but also with themselves against the clock.
This year’s event will be held in July and the organization is now looking for a volunteer treasurer.
Race Roster, the race management company looks after registrations, donations, and issues charitable donation receipts on behalf of our charities and every two weeks disburse funds and issue a statement.
The volunteer treasurer will be required to maintain a balance sheet and pay bills.
