The past two years of living with a life-changing virus has created, for many, feelings of isolation and stress never seen before.
Now, more than ever, mental health has become an important aspect that the isolation of a pandemic has raised to unseen levels.
While more and more people are coming out of COVID with new life expectations, new exercise routines and reformed eating habits, what is more important than ever is to learn how to deal with, and care for, the mind.
Any horse lover will tell you of the power and energy that is created being around these beautiful animals and, at Mirimachi Farms (PRANCE – Hwy, 21 Port Elgin), ‘Meditation with Horses’ means spending quiet time with nature and the calm gentleness of these magnificent creatures.
The Ekam World Peace Festival, leading into the International Day of Peace on September 21st, has become a global movement toward finding inner peace, and ‘Meditation with Horses’ is part of that search for peacefulness – without the devices, technology, unproductive thinking and stress that are prevalent in today’s world.
Tomorrow (Wed. Sept. 7) and Monday through Thursday next week (Sept. 12,13,14 & 15) from 7:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m., experience ‘Meditation with Horses’. Join the circle at Mirimachi Farms, the home of PRANCE, where the horses are free to join in, or not.
Although RSVPs and donations are appreciated, they are not required. All you need is a lawn chair and closed-toe shoes. In inclement weather, the circle moves inside to the arena.
