CFUW Southport nominated Carolyn Day for a Notable Woman award a year and a half ago and the award was presented at a garden gathering at Day’s home on Wednesday, October 10th, when members of SouthportCFUW celebrated with song and champagne.
In addition to local members, Ontario Council representatives Lori Ker, Regional Director, Teri Shaw, Advocacy for Ontario and Moira Hudgin, North York Regional Director also attended. Hudgin and Day have been friends for decades having been roommates in University.
