John Willetts of Southampton is currently in Kashechewan as a volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross.

Kashechewan First Nation is a Cree First Nation band located near James Bay in Northern Ontario, where the name means “where the river flows fast”.
The group, that arrived on June 12th and will remain until June 28th, has been helping with food and supply distribution for the community.
The group stayed in tents at the local church.
