Mark your calendar for annual tourism brochure swap

Join Saugeen First NationGrey County, and Bruce County, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, for Mazin’igan G’meshkwadoomaadiwag (Ojibway Translation: exchange, trade paper and documents with each other): Annual Tourism Brochure Swap. This event runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the James Mason Memorial Culture and Recreation Centre in Southampton and includes a Cultural Demonstration and Pow Wow Regalia Fashion Show.

“Bruce County is excited to kick start the summer with Saugeen First Nation and Grey County by bringing tourism businesses together to connect, learn about Ojibway culture, and unlock the tourism possibilities in our local area.” says Jeffrey Loney, Economic Development Manager at Bruce County.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet with tourism partners, network, and swap brochures with one another. Whether you are a municipality, tourism business, or organization that promotes tourism in Bruce and Grey County, this is a must-attend event.

This event is designed to give tourism operators a space to connect and share resources to help promote the incredible tourism opportunities across Grey and Bruce counties.

We are also looking forward to hosting the Regalia Fashion Show at this year’s event, which will showcase the many different styles of Regalia and the significance of each design.” says Brad Ritchie, Economic Development Officer at Saugeen First Nation#29.
