The Saugeen District Senior School (SDSS) ‘Me to We’ group is holding its second annual homemade Indian Food Fundraiser on Sunday, April 5, at the Bruce Township Community Centre, in Underwood.The traditional dinner includes several courses that includes Indian appetizers such as samosas and pakora, homemade curries and desserts.
All proceeds are going toward a field trip that students will be taking to the Netherlands to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Holland in WWII and also to ‘Me to We’ leadership activities and charities.
Tickets are $30 each and are available at Cathy’s Flowers & Treasures in Port Elgin, SDSS main office or online at bsdsb.schoolcashonline.com (tickets purchased online will be held at the door). Seating is limited at 150 tickets and a tentative deadline for purchase is March 6th.
