Dr. Ian Arra, Grey-Bruce Medical Officer of Health and Chief Executive Officer of the Grey Bruce Health Unit, held a live chat virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, July 21st to answer questions on any issue pertaining to COVID-19 and the Delta variant.
Hosted by Bruce Power, he was joined by President and CEO Mike Rencheck and James Scongack, Executive Vice-President of Corporate Affairs and Operational Services for Bruce Power.
Rencheck thanked those who volunteer at the various vaccine centres, including his wife Carol who has also been an avid volunteer.
Scongack added that the vaccination program is at a “very important juncture” and that the Town Hall was to focus on two main topices – the spread of the Delta variant and the path to reaching a 100 per cent vaccination rate in Grey Bruce.
Dr. Arra fielded many questions surrounding vaccine availability and uptake statistics surrounding vaccines.
