It was a big day for Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation on Monday, November 5th.
Many supporters and donors of Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation crowded into the lobby and hallway of the Southampton hospital to witness the unveiling of the new ‘Donor Wall’ following the expansion of the hospital, to meet the new Executive Director, to see the funding amount raised toward the new MRI machine in Owen Sound and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Hospital Foundation.
The new donor plaque features the names of many individuals, businesses, organizations and media that have contributed to the hospital, for things such as equipment not funded by the Government, whether through funding dollars or in-kind contributions.
The Foundation also revealed its contribution of $225,000 toward the MRI in Owen Sound Regional Hospital that serves the region of Grey Bruce Hospital Services.
