No news today out of respect for the loss of a young life

Out of consideration for yet another loss of life at Saugeen First Nation, we have opted to pass on other news items for today.

When we interviewed this young man, and his brother Curtis, it was on a happy day when the younger brother, Dylan, had decided to run a distance in full firefighter gear as a fundraiser for Wounded Warriors.

Wounded Warriors Canada is a national mental health service provider utilizing clinical best practices and evidence-informed care to create an environment of compassion, resiliency and hope for Canada’s Veterans, First Responders and their families.

On March 16th, in what must have been a personal battle, Dylan became a ‘wounded warrior’.

Our thoughts go out to the family and to the young man who, for whatever reason, felt he could not go on.
