Take Notice that a Planning Meeting will be held on May 21, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., in
the Council Chambers of the Town of Saugeen Shores Municipal Building, 600
Tomlinson Drive, Port Elgin ON in order to further consider the Planning Application
(File Number SSOPA32-18.48) as outlined below, submitted by George Durigon et al.
c/o Ron Davidson.
The Purpose of the proposed Official Plan Amendment is to amend Section 2.6.8.2
(c) of Town of Saugeen Shores Official Plan to allow for consideration of development
within a Significant Woodland Area similar to other Special Policy Areas for Significant
Woodland within the Town.
If approved, the Effect of the proposed Amendment would allow for consideration
of development on the 15 subject properties. Any future development proposals will
be subject to all other development criteria of the Official Plan including the
preparation an Environmental Impact Study.
The applicant has filed an additional correspondence, dated April 22, 2019, in
response to the submissions received.

Notification: If you wish to be notified of the adoption of the proposed Official Plan
Amendment, or of the refusal of a request to adopt the proposed Amendment, you
must make a written request to the County of Bruce Planning Department at the
above address.
A statutory Public Meeting in accordance with the Planning Act was held March 18,
2019, where the public was given an opportunity to make submissions directly to the
Planning Committee regarding the proposed policy amendment.
Should you wish to speak directly to Planning Committee, you must request a
delegation with the Clerk of the Town of Saugeen Shores, Linda White (600
Tomlinson Drive, Tel 519-832-2008) no later than noon on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.
Written submissions will continue to be accepted until the meeting date, however,
those received after May 14, 2019 may not be included in the Planning Report.
