On Wednesday, 11 November, 2020, The Royal Canadian Legion, Port Elgin Branch 340, will be holding a PRIVATE SERVICE at Cenotaph Park.
This year, in accordance with Provincial guidelines due to COVID-19 restrictions, we cannot invite the community to share this meaningful occasion of honouring our Veterans; we are only allowed 25 people and this will be enforced as the Legion could be liable under Reg. 364/21 for organizing an outdoor event.

We will pre-lay the wreaths and the public is invited to come and pay their respects at the cenotaph and look at the display between 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
The Port Elgin Legion will be open at 11:30 am on 11 November to Veterans and Legion members only with their spouse / caregiver as we are restricted to only 50 people.
We thank our community and all the businesses for their continued support throughout the years and we will meet again in 2021.
