OPP asking for public’s help in solving mischiefs to Chatsworth properties

The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating two mischiefs in the Municipality of Chatsworth.

On July 8, 2024, the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call of a mischief that occurred to a business on Sideroad 30 in the Municipality of Chatsworth over the weekend. It was reported that three pieces of heavy equipment was driven into a pond on the property and submerged. Estimate of damage exceeds $120,000.00.

On July 8, 2024, the Grey Bruce OPP received a call from another business on Sideroad 30 in the Municipality of Chatsworth. It was reported that office buildings were vandalized, and a 2016 Dodge 2500 pickup truck was stolen. The stolen vehicle has since been recovered.

It is believed that both occurrences are involving the same individual(s)
