Out and About in Port Elgin on a hot summer Saturday

Saturday, July 8th (2023) was a perfect summer day in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores) for FUNdraising.

Four-year-old Jaxson was selling his delicious homemade lemonade and treats with two goals in mind.  The first to buy a new ‘teal’ coloured bike from Canadian Tire for his upcoming 5th birthday in August.  The second was to donate any leftover funds to the local Food Bank.  Thanks to the generosity of the community he was easily able to reach both goals.

At the other north end of Port Elgin at Gauthier’s Home Hardware, the Rotary Club of Saugeen Shores volunteers were cooking up their delicious burgers and hot dogs to raise funds for community projects.
