Bruce County Museum: People’s Choice Award to be announced at exhibit closing

A reminder that on Saturday, September 2nd at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is the last chance to view the summer exhibit Escarpment Roots: The Land, The People, The Story, where the winner of the People’s Choice award will be announced.

During this free-to-attend closing reception from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, visitors can meet many of the artists from the Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists who have select pieces in this juried show, as well as enjoy light refreshments and a cash bar.

Closing remarks begin at 2:30 PM and will include the much-anticipated announcement of the People’s Choice award. Throughout the summer visitors to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre have been casting their ballot for their favourite piece in this exhibition that explores the rich heritage and breathtaking landscapes of the Niagara Escarpment.

The show features captivating artworks created by talented local artists who draw inspiration from the unique essence of the region. Through various artistic mediums, the exhibition delves into the interplay between the land, its people, and the fascinating stories that shape the region’s identity.
