Meet Charlie. He’s a 3.5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog – Golden Retriever X. He’s a real sweet boy, neutered and up-to-date on shots after vet visit. He is larger than he appears in his photo coming in at approximately 95 lbs.
He pulls some on the leash but can be corrected. He’s good with cats but not great with dogs, so it is recommended he be the only dog in the household. He also has some toy guarding tendencies so would be best with older children. He’s scheduled for a grooming…stay tuned for an after picture on our website and social media!
Please call the shelter at 519-372-1911 for an appointment to meet this handsome guy.
Note: at this point we are only making appointments with people from within Grey-Bruce.

The Shelter offers a safe place for pets that have no choices left. “Sometimes, their owners have had no choice either. They, too, may have aged and had to move into a facility where their loved companions are not allowed or, in the final step of life, may have died leaving their pets behind. Whatever the reason, these faithful friends have no choice but to wait … wait for someone new to take them in and love them,” says Shelter Manager, Deb Takeda.
