Pet(s) of the Week: Waiting for loving forever homes

Grey Bruce Animal Shelter offers a safe place for pets that have no choices left.
“Sometimes, their owners have had no choice either. They, too, may have aged and had to move into a facility where their loved companions are not allowed or, in the final step of life, may have died leaving their pets behind,” says Shelter Manager, Deb Takeda.  “Whatever the reason, these faithful friends have no choice but to wait … wait for someone new to take them in and love them.”
Sometimes too, however, they come from very unusual circumstances that are unfair for anyone, human or otherwise.
Meet Gabe. He’s an eight-month-old grey tabby with beautiful white points.
Gabe is a sweet, friendly little guy who loves to be pampered but he’s also good with other cats.
He’s booked for a neuter, is vaccinated and ready to find his furrever home.
Please call 519 372-1911 for an appointment to meet Gabe.
Meet Zan (Alexandra), a beautiful seven-year-old Mastiff X.
Zan arrived with a serious, life-threatening infection but has received the care she needed and is doing well.
She prefers to be the only pet in the home and is vaccinate, spayed and ready to her special home.  She’s a big girl, but big on love too.
Please call the shelter 519-372-1911 to meet this sweetheart.
