Police seeking tips on suspicious male

On September 17, 2019, at 4:45 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a suspicious male along Russell Street in Kincardine. 

A pickup truck was westbound on Russell Street at approximately 3:15 p.m. when the driver stopped and called out to a student walking home from school. The student ran off having no contact with the male and the truck drove away.   

The vehicle is described as red pickup truck, with a broken driver’s side tail light. No licence plate was obtained.  

The male driver is described as 35 – 40 years old with a scruffy beard. Wearing a hat similar to a “clown hat” and “Hawaiian” style shorts. 

Officers are looking to speak with the individual involved and are requesting assistance from the public to identify the vehicle and driver.
