Port Elgin Beach Preservers out and about cleaning beach of debris on Earth Day

 Patricia Corrigan-Frank

Despite cold northwesterly winds on Earth Day 2022, April 22nd, the Port Elgin Beach Preservers, organized by founder Patricia Corrigan-Frank, were out and about at their namesake, Port Elgin Main Beach, to rake and clean debris.

The local group has taken the main Beach ‘under its wing’ to help maintain the beach environmental cleanliness.

The beach was raked the old fashioned manual way and debris/garbage was picked up and bagged for removal.
