Once again this year, Port Elgin Legion Branch 340 and Meridian Credit Union partnered to ensure that Christmas morning would be a delight for some children.
Every December, Branch 340 holds its annual toy drive to gather new toys and monetary donations.
Staff from Meridian then collect the toys which are delivered to the Salvation Army for distribution.
“We want to thank everyone who took the time to donate to our annual drive, particularly during this time,” said President Robert Harrison, “all the gifts and funds will help make a child’s Christmas a little brighter.”
