Port Elgin Legion Branch 340: August, 2020

   President Robert           (Bob) Harrison

Well, we are finally open again after a four month closure. We reopened Friday, July 17th to a well behaved group of comrades who all followed the new rules with social distancing and mandatory face masks.

You need to wear a face mask when you come in, when ordering at the bar, when going to the washroom and when you are leaving. You do not have to wear it when seated at your table. It is also asked that you do not move the tables and chairs as they are the proper distance apart.

It would be nice to see more members and guests come in and support the Branch however, that is up to your discretion. We have lots of hand sanitizer and the Bar Staff is doing a great job of sanitizing each table and chairs when people come and go.

So, again, please consider coming in to the Branch, the Bar Staff are taking proper steps to keep us safe. You have to see the great job Don and his team have done on the renovations and have a cold drink with your friends and fellow comrades.
