As the snow fell so did the number of members who came to the Branch to support us. We appreciate the weather has been very inclement with the many snowstorms and closures.
Our profits are also down considering Branch 340 donates over $25,000 per year to our veterans, hospitals, school and our community. We cannot keep this up without your help.
I know it’s great to say let’s have events such as a Trivia Night, a dance or maybe a dinner but someone needs to step up and organize the event. Events don’t just happen by themselves. We need you. If you have any ideas to enable us to raise funds for our veterans and our community please let the Executive know.
Spring elections are next month. We have resource material to help you with what is necessary for an executive position. If we are to continue as a viable Legion we need to recruit new members with new ideas to get more people into our Branch. Please consider letting your name stand for a position on the Branch Executive. We need your help.
