The five regional foundations of Grey Bruce Health Services, located in Owen Sound, Wiarton, Meaford, Markdale and Southampton,l are partners in raising the $4.7M needed for the purchase and installation of a new state-of-the-art MRI  to replace the  current one now considered antiquated.

“We have also made a three-year commitment,” says Murawsky, “to donate all proceeds from our Annual Homeshow raffle to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation for on-going capital costs including equipment upgrades at our local Southampton Hospital.”

“The Port Elgin Rotary club appreciates the value that the hospitals bring to our community and decided to support this worthy cause,” he added.

Port Elgin Rotary raises funds through-out the year from its many local fundraising activities including Winterama (Feb. 9/19), the Home & Recreation Show, the Huron Shores Run, the Jeff Preston Golf Tournament and PumpkinPieFest.
