This morning (Oct. 18), a contractor laid out a preliminary design concept on the Port Elgin Main Beach parking lot as part of the ongoing Waterfront Revitalization process.
Members of the public may see markings on the parking lot as the proposed project continues. This step is one of many in a careful and thoughtful process that started in February 2019. This stage of the Waterfront Revitalization will culminate in a presentation to both Council and the public when the design concept and negotiation is further developed.
“Members of Council and I look forward to seeing, along with the community, a proposed site plan when one is available,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau.
