The pies were sold out with 214 pre-ordered and Bruce Power ordered another 150, for which they are distributing gift certificates to front-line health care workers.

The pies were made by ‘Just Like Mom’s’ restaurant in Southampton (Hwy. 21 across from Foodland).  Owner, Vonnie Jasso, rose early on Friday morning to make the more than 200 pumpkin pies that were then handed out at curb-side at Groundhog Divers in Port Elgin on Saturday, October 3rd.
