Salvation Army Thrift Store closes its doors due to COVID -due to reopen July 8th

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Port Elgin temporarily closed its doors as, according to sources, three individuals at the facility had tested positive for COVID, one of whom had not been vaccinated.

After re-opening following the COVID wave 3 lockdown, many visitors passed through its doors and it is not clear at this time if the virus was passed on to anyone as apparently no contract tracing had been performed.

The building however, has now been completely sanitized and is expected to re-open tomorrow, Thursday July 8th.
