Although rain or sleet was called for, Santa arrived safe and sound for his Santa Claus parade in Port Elgin on Saturday, November 26th.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Saugeen Shores, the young and young-at-heart lined the street in anticipation of the parade and Santa’s arrival.
This year’s parade was lead by the ever-effervescent photographer and voice in the Chantry Singers, Parade Grand Marshall, Peter Little.
Before the parade began however, it was time to enjoy hot dogs with hot apple cider at the free BBQ offered by the Saugeen Shores Rotary.
Of course, everyone enjoyed the floats but it was the big guy that all were waiting for … especially the young ones, and Santa didn’t disappoint.
The good news is … there are ONLY FIVE MORE SLEEPS UNTIL SANTA ARRIVES AGAIN in Southampton on Friday (Dec. 2nd) along with another FREE BBQ!
