Friday’s parade will be a drive-thru featuring a stationary display of floats and performers on Victoria Street between Clarendon St. and High Street, with the line-up starting at Carlisle St.

It is expected to be a fun event and a safe one with protocols in place:

· Drive-thru only event, no pedestrian traffic allowed
· Stay in your vehicle at all times
· Drive slow, use caution and follow parade marshal directions

Spectator vehicles are being asked to enter the lineup at Clarendon Street for the best traffic flow.

Southampton Rotary Club will be collecting food and cash donations at the beginning of the parade route and, don’t forget that Santa will have his mailbox at the end of the parade route for all the letters that he wants to read!

The Saugeen Shores Santa Claus Committee has been working closely with Grey Bruce Public Health, Saugeen Shores Police and the Town of Saugeen Shores to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators. Appreciation also goes out to Bruce Power and Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for their support in upgrading Santa’s sleigh this year.
