At Monday night’s (Feb. 10) Council meeting in Saugeen Shores, during a recorded vote on the proposed Port Elgin Beach development, Councilor Matt Carr was the only dissenting voice.
“I received many emails and read everyone of them. I didn’t answer them because the number was simply overwhelming but I feel that I did my due diligence to make an informed decision and I respect that everyone has their own opinion, just as I have mine. I’m happy with the process but there are issues I do not agree with.”
