In spite of a cool start to the day on Saturday, May 25th (2024), people lined up for the annual Saugeen Shores Firefighters fundraiser pancake breakfast.
The breakfast, held at the Port Elgin fire station is a fundraiser for the Jr. Firefighters program and, once again, people lined up as the firefighters prepared breakfast at breakneck speed to keep up with the influx.

With delicious scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and hashbrowns served with toast and hot coffee and juice, families enjoyed starting the weekend off with breakfast and a chance to explore the fire department and trucks that invited young and young-at-heart to climb aboard after breakfast.
