Saugeen Shores has a new Canadian citizen

It was an important day for Ghaydaa Kissen Abdou as she became a Canadian Citizen on Friday, June 10th (2022), joining her husband Saad and children who became citizens in December, 2021 at a ceremony held in the boardroom at Saugeen Shores Police building.

The Al Ibrahim family arrived in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores) in 2016, refugees from the war in Syria.
