Saugeen Shores launches Business Recognition Campaign

The Town of Saugeen Shores has launched the Saugeen Shores Strong Business Recognition Campaign to highlight the tremendous efforts the local business community has made to adapt throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nominated by consumers or employees, recognized businesses are those who have shown resiliency and adaptability throughout the pandemic, with efforts that have impacted the public. Examples can include a business’ new products or services, COVID-19 safety procedures, or businesses giving back to the community, among others.

Those nominated will be presented with a decal to display in their window, along with recognition on the Town’s website and social media channels.

“We know that Saugeen Shores has a resilient business community and we want to celebrate all that local businesses have done to keep our economy strong and our community safe,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau.

To nominate a local business, members of the public can complete the online form available at SaugeenShores.ca/BusinessRecognition. Paper copies are also available at the Municipal Office, 600 Tomlinson Drive, Box 820, Port Elgin.
