Saugeen Shores launches new ‘Invest Saugeen Shores’ brand

The Town of Saugeen Shores has launched its new “Invest Saugeen Shores” brand.

Elements of the brand include new marketing materials, a promotional video and a dedicated webpage to the ‘Invest brand’ that features key economic indicators on a range of topics.

The ‘Invest Saugeen Shores’ brand will create a strong and distinct look and feel for the Town’s economic development efforts, and the materials will be used in the recruitment of potential investors, entrepreneurs, and others.

At Saugeen Shores Monday night Council meeting (Feb. 10), Economic Development Officer, Heather Hyde, said that the Town’s economic development work has resulted in many successes to date. “We are bringing two new hotels to the community through the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) and have seen 20 Bruce nuclear suppliers open offices as well as having many new businesses locating here in the last few years. Economic development initiatives created and implemented by Saugeen Shores have also been recognized through numerous national and international awards.”

“As I always say,” says Mayor Luke Charbonneau, “Saugeen Shores is one of the best places to live in Canada, but it is also one of the best places to invest.  We are telling our story in a number of ways, and the ‘Invest’ brand is an important piece for our community’s economic development.”
