Saugeen Shores Police took a report of a theft of a Motor Vehicle in progress in the area of Adelaide Street in the Town of Southampton.
The complainant had heard a commotion outside their home and located an unknown male pinned under a motorcycle that had been moved from where it had been parked and taht was owned by the complainant.
Upon discovery the accused took off on foot through neighbouring yards. Police located a male, matching the description provided, in a shed on Huron Street.
As a result of this investigation a 40-year-old of Saugeen Shores has been charged with the following:
Break and Enter
Disguise with Intent
Mischief x2
Obstruct Police
Resist Peace Officer
Trespass by night x2
Attempt (Theft of Motor Vehicle)
He was released on an Undertaking with a future court date.
