–NEW!! ***1:48pm*** All Saugeen Shores rural routes south of Bruce Road 40 are impassable and now closed, including Concession 2 and the Bruce Saugeen Townline.
ROAD WARNING:
Hwy 21 between Port and Kincardine has deteriorated***12:57*** 33/34 Sideroad from Bruce Saugeen Townline to Con 2 is impassable due to drifting and vehicles blocking the roadway.
***12:35pm *** 28/29 Sideroad is impassable due to drifting and abandoned vehicles between Concession 2 and The Blind Line AVOID THE AREA
***1:18pm*** 13/14 Sideroad South of Con 2 has heavy drifting and Poor visibility.
Vehicles using these roads have become stuck, endangering themselves and obstructing Town plows. Please stay off these roads.
Driving on a closed road is against the law and puts you and your passengers at risk. Abandoned vehicles may be towed and fined.
All other rural roads, and in-town roads in Port Elgin and Southampton currently remain open.
The Town will continue to monitor conditions and closures and provide further updates as they become available.
