To date, in 2025, Saugeen Shores Police have laid 177 charges ranging from intimate partner violence to a stolen vehicle, shoplifting and more.

– Police arrested an individual in relation to an intimate partner violence (IPV). If you or someone you know is a victim of IPV resources are available through Victim Services Bruce Grey . You are not alone.
– An adult male was arrested for Public Intoxication after being located lying in a snow bank. He was issued a ticket and held in custody until sober.
– An adult male was arrested for a Mischief that occurred at a local apartment complex. He was held in custody for a Bail hearing and subsequently released.
– Police responded to 14 Motor Vehicle Collisions over the week
– Police took a report from two separate businesses in Port Elgin regarding shoplifting incidents. Police reviewed CCTV images and determined they were conducted by the same suspect. An adult male from Wiarton was arrested and charged the following day.
– Police are looking for a stolen vehicle last seen in Port Elgin. The vehicle is a black 2008 BMW 28X with licence plate #DDXV719. If this vehicle is observed please contact your locale police department.
– 42-year-old of Saugeen Shores was arrested on the strength of a warrant. He was held for Bail and subsequently released.
– 44-year-old of Saugeen Shores was arrested on the strength of a warrant. He was released with a new court date.
– 23-year-old of West Grey was arrested on the strength of a warrant. He was released with a new court date.
– 60-year-old of Saugeen Shores was arrested on the strength of a warrant. He was remanded into custody.
– 56-year-old of Saugeen Shores was arrested on the strength of a warrant. She was released with a new court date.
– Police responded to 10 person wellness checks / Ambulance Assistance calls over the past week.

Saugeen Shores Police are also warning businesses to be on the look out for the two females pictured below. The suspects were involved in a distraction style fraud at a local pharmacy on January 25th 2025.
