On Friday, October 8th, some 93 students from Saugeen District Senior School (SDSS) took part in the annual ‘Commencement’ ceremony, whether virtually or in-person.
Although there were no caps and gowns, no marching in to sounds of ‘Pomp and Circumstance’, no walking across the stage to received diplomas, the ceremony was still meaningful to students and families.

School teachers and staff handed out the awards and diplomas in a ‘drive-thru’ Covid protocol event as the School’s Royal mascot posed for photos with the students.
