In spite of the pandemic, the Saugeen Shores Slo-pitch tournament went ahead with teams playing at several ball diamonds throughout the community.
The tournament was definitely different this year with no ‘beer gardens’ or commissary food available and players having to battle extreme heat.
The teams forged ahead however, and the championships were held on Sunday, August 29th.
The women’s teams played all their games at the high-school ball diamond with the men at Bieners diamond for their championship.
