Friday was a busy day filled with activities and things to do to kick off a summer weekend in Saugeen Shores.
The Marine Heritage Market at the Boathouse in Southampton had 44 vendors offering a wide variety of crafts, art, clothing, market produce food and a BBQ by the Rotary Club of Saugeen Shores at its weekly Friday Market.
Visitors strolled throughout the Market from 9:00 a.m. until the afternoon taking in the many booths and the Marine Heritage Society souvenirs.
Next door to the Market, the Southampton Art School displayed the artwork of artist, , and was also giving away books on creating art.
In Port Elgin, the popular St. Paul’s Antique and Collectibles show was back at the Plex after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions.
According to volunteers, there was a steady crowd of visitors with many leaving with purchased items.
Upstairs in Rotary Hall, many enjoyed the luncheon with its decadent desserts served up by St. Paul’s volunteers.
